Q. How do I register for a class?
A. Contact the nearest training center.
Q. I registered for a class but haven't received my confirmation yet. What should I do?
A. You should receive confirmation within two business days of submitting registration and payment information. Contact the training coordinator at your training facility. The coordinator may be waiting for payment information or a response to a question.
Course Cancellation and Substitution
For Echelon EMEA hosted classes the following applies. For other classes, please contact the training coordinator at your training facility.
Q. I can't attend the course I registered for. Can someone else attend in my place?
A. Yes. Please let your local training center know immediately that you can't attend, and give the name of the person who will take your place. Make sure you have any payment information available, such as purchase order or credit card information. There is no substitution charge if you notify us before the first day of class. All attendees must meet the prerequisites as outlined in the course description.
Q. I can't attend the course I registered for. What's your cancellation policy?
A. If you need to cancel, you must notify your local training center at least five business days before the first day of class. If you notify us less than five business days before class begins, you'll be billed 10% of the published local course fee.
Q. What happens if Echelon Training cancels a course?
A. If a class is cancelled, we'll notify you 10 business days before the first day of class, and you'll receive priority registration for the next offering of the class.

Q. Who teaches Echelon courses?
A. Our courses are taught by Echelon Certified instructors at corporate facilities and authorized training center locations.
Q. How can I become an Echelon Certified instructor or an authorized training partner?
A. Contact the training manager for more information.
Payments and Discounts
Q. Do you offer a multi-student discount?
A. Yes, Echelon offers a discount for our hosted classes, if you register two or more students for the same class, you are eligible for a 15% discount. For non- Echelon hosted classes, please contact the training coordinator at your training facility.
Q. Do you offer a discount for taking multiple courses?
A. Yes. Yes, Echelon offers a discount for our hosted classes, if you attend two courses in the same week, you are eligible for a 15% discount. For non-Echelon hosted classes, please contact the training coordinator at your training facility
Q. I don't have my payment information yet. Can I still register for a class?
A. Yes, but your registration won't be fully processed until you have submitted payment information. Please contact the training coordinator at your training facility if you have questions.
Q. How do I pay for a course?
A. For Echelon hosted classes, you can pay by credit card, purchase order, or with a company or personal check. We'll confirm your registration when we receive your payment. For non-Echelon hosted classes, please contact the training coordinator at your training facility.

- We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
- Include the exact name on the card, the card number, the security code (the 3- or 4-digit number on the back of your card), and the expiration date.
- Purchase Order
- Include the company name, student name(s), course name(s), and cost of course(s).
- Provide contact information: first and last name, job title, telephone number, e-mail address, and company address.
- Fax to the appropriate training center.

Q. Does the LonWorks® Network Design course fee cover the optional LonMark® Certification Exam fee?
A. No. The exam fee is paid separately to LonMark International. Students may acquire an exam voucher from LonMark prior to the class or arrange payment during class.
Location Facilities and Amenities
Q. What sort of weather should I expect?
A. Please contact the training coordinator at your training facility for current weather conditions.
Q. Are meals provided?
A. For Echelon hosted classes, we provide a continental breakfast and lunch each day of class. For onsite classes, meals and refreshments are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact the training coordinator at your training facility for non-Echelon hosted classes.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Dress is casual. Bring a light jacket or sweater because classrooms can be cool at times.
Q. Does Echelon provide discounted hotel recommendations?
A. No. As online travel sites provide discounts greater than those negotiated, Echelon no longer makes hotel recommendations.
Q. What is the smoking policy?
A. Smoking is not permitted indoors, but is allowed outdoors in designated areas. The receptionist or training coordinator at your training facility will direct you.
