Known Echelon Enterprise Service (EES) 2.2 SR5/SP5 issues:
1. Database corruption
a. Close the Web browser running i.LON AdminServer (also called EES AdminServer)
b. Right-click the RED service ball (i.LON SmartServer Enterprise Services) on the Windows' system tray and click "Stop Service".
c. Delete all the files in the "\iLON\EnterpriseServices\EchelonES" - delete the contents not the directory
e.g., c:\Program Files (x86)\LonWorks\iLON\EnterpriseServices\EchelonES
d. Right-click the RED service ball (i.LON SmartServer Enterprise Services) on the Windows' system tray and click "Start Service".
e. Launch EES AdminServer from the Windows Start Menu
2. EES gets stuck (remained) in "Requested" status when performing SmartServer image upgrade to version 4.09.018 (2.2 SR5/SP5)
See #3 below for workaround.
3. EES is unable to upgrade to version 4.07.018 (2.2 SP3)
workaround for both issues #2 and #3
a. Close the Web browser running i.LON AdminServer
b. Right-click the RED service ball (i.LON SmartServer Enterprise Services) on the Windows' system tray and click "Stop Service".
c. Download the EES 2.2 SP5 Patch File
d. Copy the file to the following directory and unzip it in the LonWorks\iLON\EnterpriseServices directory
e.g., c:\Program Files (x86)\LonWorks\iLON\EnterpriseServices
e. Right-click the RED service ball (i.LON SmartServer Enterprise Services) on the Windows' system tray and click "Start Service".
f. Launch EES AdminServer from the Windows Start Menu
