Izot CT or Izot Net Server activation key is reported as invalid (KB1351)

When you enter the activation key into the license wizard, this error is displayed:

"Either this activation key has an invalid format or this key doesn't exist. Please enter a valid activation key".

If this happens, check ether the license wizard is offline or online.

If the license wizard is online, there might be an issue with the key. Please send the activation Key to adt_echcredits@diasemi.com and we will check it.

Product Versions:
1. If you are trying to activate IzoT CT 4.1 or IzoT Net Server 4.1 while the PC is not connected to the internet then you can do one of the following: 
    Note this workaround doesn't apply if the PC has internet access.
a. Close the Echelon License Wizard
b. Using Windows Explorer (File Explorer) replace the existing file located in
         C:\Program Files (x86)\Echelon\License Tools
    with the one at the following link (the file is zipped up so you will have to unzip it).
        http://downloads.echelon.com/support/downloads/software/integration/IzoT_Net_Server/ProductsList.zip
c. Start the Echelon License Wizard and create the License request file *.elwrq
d. Send the *.elwrq to adt_echcredits@diasemi.com and they will send you an Activation response *.elwrs file
e. If this still doesn't work send you Activation key to adt_echcredits@diasemi.com so they can check the key.

2. IzoT CT 4.0 ( or OpenLNS CT) or IzoT Net Server 4.0 (or OpenLNS Server)  then the following may apply


If the license wizard is reported offline (but the computer has otherwise internet access), there might be an issue with the computer's clock and/or time zone.  In the Control Panel- Date and Time, select Change Date and Time, confirm it is correct and press OK, then Select Change Time Zone, confirm it is correct and press OK.

Start again the Echelon License wizard

If you have OpenLNS CT or OpenLNS Server then you should get the latest Echelon License Wizard at www.echelon.com/support and go to downloads. It is recommended that you update OpenLNS Server to IzoT Net Server (if your Annual Maintenance Agreement has expired then update to IzoT Net Server 4.0, otherwise get the latest IzoT Net Server version.  IzoT Net Server has a newer Echelon License Wizard which fixes some issues when your PC has internet access.

If the license wizard is online, there might be an issue with the key. Please send the activation Key to adt_echcredits@diasemi.com and we will check it.
