IzoT CT, and IzoT Net Server require .NET Framework 3.5 for OpenLDV, even though the PC has .Net Framework 4.8 (KB1408)

OpenLDV is the network interface driver used for IzoT CT and IzoT Net Server. OpenLDV only works with .NET Framework 3.5.

If you see the following warning message when you install IzoT CT this means that .NET Framework 3.5 is not enabled on this PC and you must manually enable it.

For older Windows Operating Systems like Windows 7 the IzoT CT installer would automatically install .NET Framework 3.5 if it wasn't available.

On Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 you will need to manually enable .NET Framework 3.5 if it is not already enabled.

Instructions for enabling .NET Framework 3.5:

1. Go to the Windows Control panel

2. Click "Programs and Features", if you don't this change the "View by:" to "large icons" or "small icons"

3. Click on "Turn Windows features on or off" in the upper-pane.

4. Check the  .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0), you can leave the two sub-folders un-checked, and then press OK.
