i.LON 700 to SmartServer IoT Re-Imaging Instructions (KB1418)

If you have any issues with the i.LON 700 then you may want to consider re-imaging the i.LON to use the SmartServer IoT software.

The i.LON 700 and SmartServer IoT use the same hardware, only the software is different. You should update the i.LON 700 to SmartServer IoT 2.90 or newer software. It is always best to update to the latest SmartServer software.

Re-imaging instructions for the i.LON 700 are different then the SmartServer IoT. Note, even after re-image the i.LON to a SmartServer sometimes when you want to re-image again they will follow these instruction instead of the SmartServer IoT Instructions.

Re-Image Instructions:

1.     Download and extract the contents of the latest image onto a USB flash drive with atleast 2GB of available space.

It must be formatted with FAT32 file system.
