CY7C53150-20AXI neuron

Good day. I have a node with CY7C53150 neuron. this node has active service pin, which is on steady. I'm new to working with lonworks protocols. I read in newsletters that this problem can be caused by problems in the firmware, this neuron is accompanied by a RAM CY62256NLL-70 and an EEPROM 27C512, I need to know that article serves to diagnose this problem, the NodeBuilder or lonbuilder, I thought erase the eeprom or replace software and record a good piece again but I do not know if this is solution. I'd appreciate any help. thanks

Download the Troubleshooting Guide from here:

http://www.echelon.com/support/documentation/other/troubl2.pdf

It has a section on how to troubleshoot 3150 based devices. It does sound like you need to make a PROM with the EEBLANK program in it and use that to clear out the 3150 chip. Then your original PROM should work again. If your 3150 chip based device runs at 10MHz, then you would use the file "eeb10000.nri" for the EEBLANK process. See this page for more info on EEBLANK:
