Shortstack implementation

Hi,

I've never work with Lonworks and I need some help.

I read about the Shortstack software for implement the lonworks protocol in any micorcontroller or microporcesor,
but I'm not sure about how to do it or what is the minimum material and software necessary.

Is it possible to implement the protocol in the BeagleBone Black?
